Steampunk from Stampendous 2013 Catalogue

Today we feature the new Steampunk images... Shoes and Bootilicious Steampunk... You can't get much better than these for stamping out a statement!

Stampendous Ruby Slippers Cling Rubber - CRW091

The extra gear stamps are from a set released last April Stampendous (Apr 12) SSC1143-R Steampunk Gears Perfectly Clear Stamps

So, today's temptations are...

By Jane Gill

These new background designs will combine with Jane's previous grass themed images as well as the new grass design featured yesterday.

 By Francoise

New additions to Francoise's HUGE range:)  Paper piecing heaven for special birthdays.

Finally for today is an image I should have shown yesterday along with Jane's other angling designs, I think Jane has well and truly 'caught' the theme!  I'm sure my dad and brother will appreciate a card with these :)

Challenge Update

Firstly, my sincere apologies that things have gradually ground to a halt here, in amongst other things, moving house has been a difficult time, sometimes your own life takes over and you have to have time out for it.  I will not bore you with all the finer details of these last few months as all is mostly done and dusted now.

I do need to announce the challenge winners though.  So here are the winners from the Emboss It challenge.

Our December challenge, In The Bleak Mid Winter was sadly the last of our challenges.  We are stopping both the challenges here and the ATC Swaps too.  We may have the odd challenge here and there but no regular monthly challenges.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the challenges over the past few years, a lot of hard work has been put into the projects and organising the challenges.  I will NEVER be able to find the right words to truly express how grateful I am to everyone who is or has ever been in our design team, they have all been truly AWESOME, they have so much talent and it has been wonderful to be able to work with you and share it with everyone.

An additional thank you to Janet Clarke for running the ATC swaps, and to those that participated in them.  You did a grand job Janet!!

It is sad that these have come to an end but it's time for a change.

So the winners of the December challenge are...

Well done to all the winners, please take your blinkies from the sidebar.

As usual it was really hard to pick the winners but I couldn't leave it any longer before making the decisions!

We are looking forward to getting new products that have been released at the trade show CHA in America, I love this time of year for that but not liking the snow we have at the moment, it does look lovely outside but not sure what is worse, rain or snow!  It rained here for most of December and apart from a couple of dry days last week I hear we'll have snow for the next few weeks.  Some new goodies will cheer us all up I am sure :)

Thanks again everyone, and thank you for visiting

December challenge - In the bleak mid winter

Well, it's 1st of December, and the countdown to Christmas!!

For our challenge this month we are asking you to include your interpretation of 'in the bleak mid winter'.

We are thinking of snow and icy scenes.  Use white in your winter themed projects, perhaps as a wintery sky, a snowy scene, or perhaps snowflakes.

Maybe keep it simple and elegant showing you aren't afraid to use just white as a colour, or try using a cool combination of secondary colours.

To kick off our challenge we have a fantastic project from

Sue the Iron

Sue used:

Stampendous Aged Marine Embossing Enamel
Stampendous Snowy Postcard Cling StampStampendous Frek01 Frantage Embossing Kit
Stampendous Kaleidoscope Embossing Powder
