I've mentioned Debbie and Michelle's Craft Stamper projects this month, and today I'm spotlighting Vix's on pages 38 - 40.
Vix, as many know, loves her Promarkers and she came up with the idea of giving one of the images from Tracey Coates' AOD 63 Alluring Ladies stamp sheet a completely different look. Most people would look at the design and see it as an ideal image to use their skin tone Promarkers, but not Vix, she had an idea to give it a charcoal look. You will have to get the magazine to see the actual projects, if you haven't got your copy yet we have them HERE!
Unfortunately you cannot see exactly how stunning the shading and colours are but you get a good idea, if you visit us at the Happy Stamper's North West show at Port Sunlight next week or later this month at Doncaster you will be able to see it in real life. The eyes really grab you and the Moonglow Sapphire embossing powder looks stunning with the softness of the blending. If you visit the shop, you'll get a chance to see the effect too.
Vix will be here on our Demo weekend which is Saturday 16th and 17th October, that I'll tell you more about another time, I hope you can join us as Vix will be demonstrating some of her great techniques. Vix has now posted the items she made for our Create and Craft show on 15th September so do take a look HERE as she made some inspiring stuff!
Going back to the HSNW show, has anyone got any spare tickets? Please email us if you have at thestampman@btconnect.com, there are some ladies that are desperate to go.

Debbie's CS Side Step Card
For my spotlight today on November's issue of Craft Stamper magazine projects by our design team, it's our Debbie's turn, Debbie Dolphin, using this cling stamp by Hero Arts, CG120 Antique Background!
Now this was an EXTRA special project, as it was also my birthday card from Debbie!!
I cannot show the card here but I'm now allowed to take it back to the shop for visitors to see in real life:) It has been in a very prominent position in our living room since mid August for me to admire and appreciate, I will miss it when it goes to the shop as the colours Debbie used match our room perfectly, it was definitely not a card to be put away after the day!!
It is Debbie's fantastic side step card project, on pages 46 - 48 of this month's mag. Firstly, I have to compliment Debbie on her step by step instructions and illustrations to show you how to make the card, I know that a lot of thought went into choosing just the right stamp and materials to make that card and article, thank you Debbie:)
I did also note that Debbie had used 2 of her very precious metal corner embellishments on the card, now that really made my day... how special was I to receive them on my card!!! It's a bit of an in joke, but I know that it means much more than Debbie giving away her last rollo! Sorry Debbie, but I'm going to share the story of when you raided one of my cards to you of 2 of those corners when we couldn't get any more stock of them... so she could use them on card she was making, well I just got them back, ha ha!!!
If you've not got the November issue of Craft Stamper yet, then you will find it HERE, the stamps Debbie used are HERE, and the ink pads HERE.
Tomorrow, it'll be Vix's turn for my Craft Stamper spotlight:)
Thank you for visiting today!

Compo's Matchbox
Have you received your copy of November Craft Stamper yet? If you have, take a look at pages 78 and 79 where you will find Michelle Marshall's Bug Box project. Michelle is a member of our design team, Midnight-Crafter
Michelle came up with a fantastic idea that is so different, now I have to tell you that Michelle has given us a sample for the shop and bearing in mind I KNEW what to expect when I opened the box, I still jumped and got the creepy crawlies as something moved in the box when I opened it, now it could have been the jump that caused the movement when I saw the bugs, they are awesomely and frightenly realistic!!
The Midnight Copper Moonglow embossing powder and the Autumn Leaf Starburst Stains really make them shimmer and shine, they are far too life like, so, if you fancy making someone jump, and really making a boy of any age a special treat, especially for halloween then the timing of this couldn't be better!
It's proving a popular project so if you haven't got a copy of the latest Craft Stamper mag, then you'll be able to grab a copy HERE, the stamps are HERE, the ink pads are HERE, the Starburst Stains are HERE and the embossing powder is HERE.
I'm certain you'll have fun with this one!!!!

September Craft Stamper Magazine Continued...
I did mention I had more to say about this month's Craft Stamper magazine in my last post and have only just got round to posting again. So, to continue where I left off...
Also in this month's magazine are great projects from Kay and Michelle, who are both on our Design Team and then there's my clock project too, I'm showing a little portion of it above. As you can see I've embedded lots of time themed pieces into the UTEE, Katy the Editor had seen other versions of this technique on my blog and asked me to make something similiar for the magazine.
It actually started as an Ikea mirror but I took out the mirror and replaced it to make it into a working clock. The items I used for the frame can be found on our website HERE. I've made a separate section on the website for Craft Stamper project products so they are easier to find and will add to the section with our design team's projects when they have used products that we stock. I had great fun making the clock and now have a couple more I am working on, I think I will make them with different themes though. I'll show them to you when they are finished.

If you haven't got your September copy yet, we have them in stock to order by post now HERE.
I hope you are having a great weekend!

September Craft Stamper Magazine
Have you got your copy yet? If not we have it in stock HERE!
This month's cover stamp has been designed by our very own stamp designer Tracey Coates, you may recognise this as it is a smaller image of a design from the Aspects of Design 63 Alluring Ladies stamp sheet, (which btw have 20% off at the moment so are £11.99 instead of £14.99!). It is a perfect size for ATC's, in fact there are 2 stamps, the eyes and the word visage which is a new design Tracey has drawn.
Janet has taken this as a theme for the September ATC Swap, which is going to be 'The Look', if you have the stamp we hope you will join in with the swap, it will be great to see what you come up with when using it. If you don't have it then there's plenty of time to have a think about the theme to come up with something else.
I will be posting again about the September CS issue as there's more to tell about it.
Only a short post for now as I'm about to get started sorting out the first batch of ATC's with Janet so we can select a winner for the blog candy before Janet does the actual swapping, very exciting!!! Janet and Michelle are here this morning with their parent and young person journalling class, so it's a good time to get this done.
I hope you are having a good day!

NEW Create & Craft Show Today at Noon!
We hope you will be able to join us today, we have some new kits to use with Tracey's designs to show even more ways to use them.
I believe we have Nigel presenting the show which is great! So glad he is back:)
After the last show with Tracey's designs, Create and Craft asked us for another Moonglow Sampler Kit, brad kits, heatable acetate and also gold leafing, and we certainly have lots of it in the show!
I actually left home yesterday, so am not really here! I've scheduled this post, hope it works!!
I'm stopping down South for a few days now to visit my family. I'm hoping to have a day out and do a little Christmas shopping with mum, which will be a REAL treat! I will be popping in though if I get a chance to borrow mum's laptop, she's become quite a whizz on it now, so I might not get much of a look in:)
OTHER NEWS
Kay and I had hoped to be doing a new show around this time with her new DVD's that she made in conjunction with Craft Stamper Magazine, unfortunately it wasn't possible to go ahead with it. When I suggested it, I thought it would be a good idea and the prospect of it gave us much excitement. It would have been nice to have been able to give you a few little peeks at the demos and gallery on your telly's, but it wasn't to be.
The DVDs are a great Christmas present idea to add to your wish list if you want to see Kay doing her stuff! Click HERE if you would like more info about them.
Last of the last batch of Demo Cards
Today's card is the last of the demo cards from the last show with Kay's stamps. Following yesterday's card, it also features the masking technique. I much prefer this card as it is much more subtle, perhaps it is the time of year, yesterday's card would be much more appreciated when spring arrives, it was a little bright:)
The masking panel is again only a small part of the sheet I made for the show. I still have plenty of the sheet left, I will have to save it to use when the weather gets better for cards in Spring.
Forward planning though, mum's birthday is in January and I'm sure a nice bright cheery card would be most welcome!!

Just a little detail on the paper flowers... I added dots from the Stardust pens to tie them into the dots on the stamp design, they also add a little extra sparkle to the card.
I hope you can watch the show today, if you haven't been able to, I will post the repeat times as soon as I know them, so do call back later!
Hope you are having a good weekend!
